SAR-Sweden 10 year Anniversary

Education and learning

SAR Sweden celebrates 10 years as a national section of the global Scholars at Risk network. At the anniversary event on 9 March 2026, we will mark a decade of collaboration, engagement, and protection of academic freedom — while also looking ahead to the next ten years. The programme includes panel discussions, perspectives from international representatives of Scholars at Risk and scholars at risk, as well as reflections from network members and the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gothenburg.
